Snowflakes and paper plates

Snowflakes are our first offical kid craft of the month.

Here is what we used:

Paper plates
craft paint
mod podge
glitter
string
tape

We cut out the snowflakes from the middle portion of the paper plates. Paper plates are thick enough to handle the paint and they won’t curl.
After the painting was complete they needed to dry about 30 minutes.  I applied one coat of Mod Podge and then dipped them in glitter to give them that little sparkle.
Here they are hanging on the Chalkboard door!
